Every August, Toronto comes alive with the sights, sounds, and spirit of Caribana. We've made it our tradition to kick off the weekend with clubs in hand, giving back to our community while celebrating Caribbean culture in style.

CARIBANA

The Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Toronto (known to all as Caribana) is North America's largest Caribbean cultural festival — a spectacular explosion of colour, music, dance, and food drawing over 1 million people to the streets of Toronto every August long weekend.

Steel pan rhythms, soca beats, elaborate costumes, jerk chicken, and the warmest community you'll ever find. This is more than a parade — it's a celebration of Caribbean identity and heritage.

KAPPA GOLF

The Canada Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. hosts this annual charity golf tournament as Caribana weekend begins. Each swing supports Roots Community Service Organization and the Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough — empowering youth and building community leadership.

🎯 Proceeds directly fund youth mentorship programs for deserving young minority males across the GTA.

Registration opens at 12:00 PM. Shotgun start at 1:00 PM sharp. BBQ dinner & awards ceremony follow.

18-hole or 9-hole scramble format. Shared golf carts included. Play as a single or bring your foursome.
